What is a Group?

A group is a collection of items.  An item within a group can be:
  1. a task
  2. a meeting
  3. a milestone
  4. another group
Groups are used to organize tasks, meetings and milestones on the Whiteboard and on the Gantt chart.

When you select a group, information about the group is shown in the Data Panel.

Links can be created to and from groups.

The example below shows that groups are a useful and important way of organizing and visually presenting different types of tasks.  Groups are also shown on the Gantt chart with a different bar style.
